Designed for storytellers at all levels of ability, each day will offer workshops that focus on attitude, skills, or business aspects of storytelling. Participants can choose to attend for part or all of a day, several days, or the entire five days.
Intensive workshops, which focus on improving both confidence and ability, will take place on Friday and Monday. Participants in these six-hour sessions will tell stories and receive supportive feedback from others in the group.
Each of the other days offers two three-hour workshops. Saturday’s workshops include “Building Confidence in Performance” and “Unlocking Your Creativity Through Fairy Tales.” Workshops on Sunday include “Freeing Comedy in Storytelling” and “Responsible Scary Stories.”
Tuesday will be an all-day session for professional storytellers devoted to the “Business of Storytelling,” with an emphasis on making a living through the art.
